I’m proud to announce that I’ve been selected as one of the Devon & Plymouth Chamber’s 30 Under 30 award winners for 2023!

"This informal workshop will give you the opportunity to explore tactility in an intuitive and playful way. You will learn a basic casting technique, and get an insight into Bonnie Mustoe-Whitehill’s practice and the processes she uses."

Each person produced a plaster tile, which took on the positive and negative textures from forms that they had pressed into clay.

Everyone had varied knowledge and experience with this technique.

"This exhibition showcases the work of two recent graduates from the BA (Hons) Craft and Material Practices course at Arts University Plymouth. Utilising the interplay of sight and touch, one of the artist’s works is visually tactile, inviting the impulse to touch, while the other is literally tactile, allowing physical interaction with the objects. Through these works, we can explore different ways of seeing visually and haptically."

I spent the day with the lovely Design Crafts students, talking to them about my practice and creative journey. I also taught my first workshop, showing the wonders of casting with latex and jesmonite and seeing how the students might want to use these materials & techniques within their own projects.

We had a lot of fun and it got super messy!
