Join me for an evening of calm and creativity at Studio Frel, Exeter.

Discover Wax Carving

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the basics of wax-carving and create your own ring, pendant or pair of earrings, completely unique to you!

The longer timeframe will allow you to really relax and see your design through to it's full potential, with Bonnie's full attention you'll hopefully come away with a piece you're really proud of.

You can either come with a design in mind, or if you're unsure of what to make, you can choose from a selection of Bonnie's simple designs to create yourself. Wax is easy to shape, allowing for bold, sculptural designs that are hard to achieve with traditional metalworking techniques. Perfect for all abilities!

From Wax To Metal

Your carved design will be sent to a casting company, transformed into metal, and polished up by Bonnie.

Please bear in mind that casting fees are additional, so your ticket covers the cost of the workshop only. The cost of casting your item/s will be worked out at the end, and is dependent on the weight, size and metal you'd like to have your item cast in.

Guidelines on pricing: Brass/Bronze £25+, Silver £35+, Gold Plated Silver £45+, Solid 9ct Gold £180+, Solid 18ct Gold £400+

After the workshop, your jewellery will be ready to wear in 3-4 weeks - it's worth the wait!

Refreshments

A selection of tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available throughout the workshop to keep you refreshed as you create.

For this special workshop, you can also enjoy delicious Syrian snacks, available with the additional ticket option.
